MAD About Flowers

The great thing about this country are the seasons. As a florist you tend to notice the changing months by the flowers you use.

Many flowers are available all the year round, like for example, roses, freesias and lilies to name a few but some flowers have a very small natural window in which to appear. Using seasonal flowers for your wedding is a good idea for a number of reasons, not only do they give a visual marker in years to come of the time of year you married but they are usually less expensive too. Believe it or not, they can smell more fragrant too. Forced flowers tend to be virtually unscented.

From the fragrant delicate spring flowers to the robust autumnal blooms, we have sectioned our wedding flower images into the seasons of the year, giving a list of seasonal flowers to accompany them.
